Description

New, never run on track, FLY Ref: 88206 and A-1404, Porsche 917 LH (Long Tail), modeled as it appeared at the Le Mans test day prior to the 24 hour race in 1970. The car was entered by the Martini International Racing Team and driven by Gerard Larrousse and Willy Kauhsen. The car qualified in 12th place at 3’:31.2” but finished 2nd, completing 338 laps to the winning Porsche’s 343 laps. This model is original and has long been a shelf Queen in my collection.
