BEAUTIFUL BIRDS ON BRANCH AND ROSES PORCELAIN FIGURINE. HAND SIGNED BY WILLIAM MADDUX. 1930's - 1940's All the pottery produced while Bill Maddux operated the company was hand-signed "William Maddux" or incised "Wm. Maddux . Maddux California pottery was owned by William Maddux until he sold it in 1947-1948. A very rare piece in excellent condition. I have inspected this piece thoroughly and cannot find any chips or cracks. Has normal crazing of glaze from age, please see photos provided.
